Arjun Krishnan

Arjun Krishnan is a partner at Samvad Partners, a full service law firm and heads the Dispute Resolution Practice at the Firm’s New Delhi Office. He is also an Advocate-on-Record (AoR) in the Supreme Court of India. With over 16 years’ experience in complex disputes, he regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi and various Tribunals and Commissions. He has acted as an arbitrator and an expert on legal matters, and regularly represents clients in ad-hoc and institutional commercial arbitration, at a domestic and international level. Arjun has also advised the Government of India in arbitrations arising out of bilateral investment treaties. In recognition of his standing as a leading arbitration lawyer in India, he was nominated for a second consecutive term as India’s national correspondent to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). He has been recognised in the list “100 Leading Law Firm Professionals” by LawWiser in their Lawyers Power League 2023. He was also nominated as ‘Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year’ at Asia Legal Business India Law Awards 2021 & 2022 and was awarded ‘Young Lawyer of the Year - Under 40’ at the BW Legal World-Global Legal Summit and Awards 2019.
