Harish Narasappa

Harish is a designated Senior Advocate. He regularly appears before various courts and tribunals across India in connection with commercial, company, competition, tax, insolvency, TMT, banking and constitutional law matters. Harish is also active in commercial arbitration, both international and domestic both as a counsel and as an arbitrator. Harish has particular experience in technology, investment, shareholders, M&A and construction disputes. Harish has a rich experience as a transaction lawyer in various commercial matters for nearly two decades in different parts of the world. Harish is ranked as one of the top Senior Advocates in Karnataka High Court by Chambers 2024. Prior to being designated as a Senior Advocate, Harish was regularly featured in the A List (the top 100 business lawyers in India) compiled by the India Business Law Journal, with the 2020 edition also identifying him as a "legal icon". Harish has been ranked in Chambers and Legal 500 for more than 15 years. Harish was a founder of Samvād Partners and has practised law for over 20 years in India and the UK. Passionate about finding solutions for speedy and meaningful justice delivery, he co-founded and currently heads DAKSH, a civil society organisation doing pioneering research on judicial processes and accountability in governance.
