Mr Sriranga specializes in the areas of Constitutional, Commercial & Corporate Laws, Securities & Equity related Laws, Venture Capital
Investments, Infrastructure & Power, Public Utility Laws & Arbitration and Conciliation. In recognition of his exemplary career and his expertise in the
field of litigation which has spanned over 25 years, he was designated Senior Advocate of the Karnataka High Court in 2021. He is also a Solicitor of
England and Wales and is an empanelled Arbitrator in the Indian Council of Arbitration. He is a member of the Governing Council of the Bar Association of India as
well as the Law Society, UK and Law Asia and is also a Fellow at the Indian Council of Arbitration. He has a thriving Arbitration practice which encompasses a variety of
construction and infrastructure related disputes, both domestic and international. He also does a wide spectrum of advisory work and a variety of
litigation in the realms of infrastructure and power. He appears in adjudicatory proceedings before the Electricity Regulatory authorities, both original and
appellate and represents various power utilities before a variety of fora including the Supreme Court of India. He also has a wide practice in the field
of service law and has represented employers including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd,
Flowserve, Jain University and Glitvac among several others. He has represented clients from the Aerospace sector including Hindustan
Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and others before various fora. He has assisted clients in drafting various international and domestic aircraft leasing and
licensing agreements. He also has a longstanding practice in the field of Company law before varied
fora including the National Company Law Tribunals and the Appellate Tribunals in proceedings arising out of the Companies Act 2013 as well as the
Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. Among the Clients he has represented are the Bar Council of India, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Industrial Financial Corporation of India (IFCI) and other State and Central Government owned Banks etc.
